INSTRUCTIONAL GUIDE VIDEO
Major Pull Challenge
Equipment Required: Any Power Rack or Smith Machine with the Cable Pulley System.
Come and join the challenge launched by Olympic champion, Michael Andrew. Refer to the Challenge Details below and the guide video on the left side for official standards. Then, register and record your challenge video. After completing your challenge, submit your video evidence following the provided instructions. Also, make sure to use #MajorFitnessChallenge and tag our official account to share your experience!
Major Pull Challenge And Scoring
- Any power rack or Smith machine equipped with a cable pulley system may be used.
- Prize money will only be paid via bank card. If you do not agree to this term, please do not participate.
Men: Participants must complete 30 repetitions of the 20 lb single-arm cable straight arm pulldown with a 2:1 cable pulley ratio (machines with a 1:1 ratio, like the Major F35 power rack, should use only 10 lb).
Women: Participants must complete 15 repetitions of the 20 lb single-arm cable straight arm pulldown with a 2:1 cable pulley ratio (machines with a 1:1 ratio, like the Major F35 power rack, should use only 10 lb).
The fastest participant to complete the challenge according to the required standards will be the winner.
Note:
1. During the challenge, you must use one arm to complete the required number of repetitions, whether you use your left or right arm.
2. The exercise must ensure a full range of motion during the challenge. For the starting position, keep your arm parallel to the ground and pull it down at least to your side as the ending position.
3. Challengers may make as many attempts as they like during their challenge video. - Record a video where the timing starts when the word “GO” appears. Ensure the video shows the entire process and the final time upon completion of the challenge.
- The participant who completes the challenge the fastest will win the prize. The first place gets a $1000 cash reward, the second place gets a $500 cash reward, and the third place gets a $200 fitness reward. Apart from the winning contestants, as long as the challenge video complies with the rules, you will receive a $100 discount code for Major Fitness products.
Video Submission Standards
All video submissions must be uncut and unedited to accurately display the challenge. Videos shot with a fish-eye lens or similar lenses may be rejected due to visual distortion. Ensure the sound is on during filming. Additionally, clear the area of any extra equipment, people, or other potential obstructions to ensure the video is clear.
- All of the steps above should be done with the camera continuously running for the video to be accepted.
- Failure to show these steps/items could make the video submission subject to rejection at the judges' discretion.

Mastering Challenge Exercises
Single Arm Cable Straight Arm Pulldown
Target Muscle: Latissimus Dorsi
- Attach a stirrup handle to a cable system and assume a standing position.
- Grasp the handle with a pronated grip at roughly shoulder width, and lean forward slightly by hinging at the hips.
- Keep the elbow slightly flexed and initiate the movement by depressing the shoulder blades and extending the shoulders from the starting position.
- Pull the handle to your side until the lats are fully contracted, then slowly lower it under control.
- Repeat for the desired number of repetitions.

Yes. You can use equipment from other brands to participate in the challenge.
No. You must complete all challenges by yourself.
No, you cannot switch arms during the challenge. However, you can choose to use either your left arm or right arm to complete the challenge as quickly as possible.
You can attempt the challenge multiple times in the video. We will use the fastest time to complete the entire challenge, in accordance with the requirements, as the final score. It is best if the video does not exceed 5 minutes in length.
The challenge will end on July 9. Submissions received after the deadline will not be considered.

- These terms and conditions shall govern the terms of the Major Pull Challenge. Major Fitness reserves the sole and absolute right to withdraw, amend, alter, modify, omit and/or vary any part or the whole of the terms and conditions of this Campaign without prior notice to the Participant and Participant shall be bound to observe, perform and comply with the terms and conditions herein and any amendments thereof and any other Campaign specific terms and conditions issued by Major Fitness from time to time.
- Registration for, participation in, and the submission of a completion video for the Major Pull Challenge must fully comply with its official rules and guidelines.
- Entries will be judged based on the fastest completion time. The decision of the judges will be final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
- By submitting a video, participants grant the organizers a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive license to broadcast, publish, store, reproduce, distribute, syndicate, and otherwise use and exhibit the submission (along with their names, voice, performance, and/or likeness) in all media now known and later come into being for purposes of trade or advertising without further compensation.
- The organizers are not responsible for any personal injury or damage to property that may occur as a result of participating in the challenge.
- Prize money will only be paid via bank card. If you do not agree to this term, please do not participate.
- By entering the challenge, participants acknowledge and agree that they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
